Meet the Team

We are your local Cariboo specialists in human kinetics and foot health.

Alicia

I am the proud owner and operator of Cariboo Orthotics! I joined the downtown Williams Lake business and medical community in October 2017. I am a certified Canadian Pedorthist and have been working in the field of Biomechanics, Orthotics and Sports Medicine since 2015 (originally working for Kintec Footwear and Orthotics in the lower mainland). I completed a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia followed by a 2-year Pedorthic Apprenticeship program to obtain my C. Ped (C) designation. I volunteer on the Pedorthic Association board of Complaints and Investigations and am a board member of the Business Improvement Association for Downtown Williams Lake. I am involved in local business groups, continuing education and personal development. I have always been very passionate about the human body, how it moves, keeping mine healthy and helping others do the same. I have a colourful background in sport & recreation and currently enjoy long hiking treks, mountain biking, snowboarding, yoga, weight training and sometimes compete in sprint triathlons & other races. Since moving to the Cariboo from Vancouver, I have found my home. I am obsessed with our surrounding mountains, forests and lakes. I can’t get enough of the wilderness expanding in all directions around the city.

Olivia

I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and became a certified Pedorthist through Cariboo Orthotics mentorship and a lot of hard work! I joined the Cariboo Orthotics team team in 2019 and obtained my C. Ped (C) certification in 2021. I really enjoy being able to help a variety of people by providing them with the education and tools they need to help themselves stay on their feet. I am a certified compression stocking fitter as well as an advanced brace fitter. Outside of Cariboo Orthotics I teach yoga and have a passion for helping people find ways to stay active, healthy and pain free.   In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, snowboarding, paddle boarding, mountain biking, playing recreational sports, partaking in various outdoor activities & teaching barre/yoga locally. I also love to explore and travel whenever possible.  I have a passion for holistic health and enjoy reading and learning about the complexity of the human body, mind and soul.
